One of Savannah’s Best Thanksgiving Traditions

Each year, one of Savannah’s most heartwarming Thanksgiving traditions unfolds at Huc-A-Poos on Tybee Island. Known for its great food and relaxed atmosphere, Huc-A-Poos hosts an annual Thanksgiving Potluck that’s all about community, sharing, and giving back.

Huc-A-Poos invites guests to bring a side dish to share, and another to donate to the Inner City Night Shelter in Savannah. While the restaurant provides fried turkey, the rest of the meal is made up of dishes brought by those attending. The result is a warm, homemade spread of Thanksgiving classics, created by the generosity of everyone who joins in.
