Best Spots for Live Music in Savannah
Savannah’s music scene has a lot to offer, from laid-back jams to lively shows. Whether you’re into folk, rock, or country, there’s always a spot worth checking out. Here are some of my favorite places to enjoy live music in town (excluding main venues):
Over Yonder

Over Yonder is a laid-back neighborhood dive bar that frequently brings a mix of country and folk live music to the heart of Savannah. With a welcoming atmosphere and a menu full of favorites like burgers, wings, and tacos, it’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind with good tunes and great company. Over Yonder often features live performances that make it a go-to for those who appreciate authentic, down-to-earth music in a relaxed setting.
Service Brewing Company

If you’re into craft beer and live music, Service Brewing Company is the place to be. Owned by veterans, this brewery doesn’t just serve up great beer—it’s also known for its regular “Bluegrass by the Pint” nights. Every Friday, local bluegrass band Swamptooth brings the energy from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. The brewery often hosts other local artists, making it a great spot for those who love the mix of music and community.

Test your Savannah knowledge! Every Tuesday, take on a fun trivia question about the city and see how well you know your hometown.
