SCAD Film Festival Returns: Celebrating Cinema in Savannah

SCAD’s annual Film Festival returns from October 27th to November 2nd, bringing a range of films and events to some of Savannah’s most iconic venues like Trustees Theater and the Lucas Theatre.

This year’s lineup includes over 160 films, featuring 10 world premieres along with documentaries, shorts, and features. With appearances by actors like Annette Bening and Colman Domingo, along with filmmakers Richard Linklater and Jerry Bruckheimer, there will be plenty of industry talent in attendance. You’ll also find panels, workshops, and Q&A sessions throughout the week.

SCAD’s festival has become known for showcasing potential Academy Award contenders—last year, films like Oppenheimer were screened before taking home major accolades.
